GLW091029: Glen Quoich to Glen Lui

29th October 2009

We drove up the Dee valley from Braemar, crossed over at the Linn of Dee then drove back down the river to park near the Linn of Quoich.

It's a pleasant stroll past the waterfalls up the western side of Glen Quich.

It gets a bit desolate, especially on a dull day, when you cross over the lonely pass of Clais Fearnaig with its mini lochs before dropping down to Glen Lui.

We cut across the shoulder of Doire Bhraghad before joining the road back to the car near Mar Lodge.
