Meeting time is 10:30 to collect your packed lunch, setting off on the trail at 11:00.

The walk is about 4 miles, mostly on easy paths. Click on Ruby Dooby Rambleside for a file with full details that you can print.

Ruby Dooby Rydal Round Ramble

Monday 15th September 2014

Rydal Round Ramble  is just a wee bit stiffer. It covers five miles with one long and a few short, relatively gentle uphill stretches.

Meet at 10:30. at the White Moss car park (about 2½ miles north of Ambleside) to collect packed lunch before 11:00 departure.

Fuller information can be found by clicking on
Ruby Dooby Rydal Round Ramble where you will find a printable file with directions.

Wuby Dooby Wansfell Wamble

The Wansfell Wamble is a suggested route for those with time to spare and wanting a more adventurous experience of  Lakeland without going too high or too far.

Don't worry, as long as you aren't silly, it is not dangerous but even in less than perfect weather, as seen below, it will give you great views over Windermere and of the Langdales plus many other Lakeland peaks.

See Wuby Dooby Wansfell Wamble for details.
